Author Guidelines

The CDU GSJ submissions for publication must not have been published nor being considered for publication elsewhere. Submitted articles should be submitted in Microsoft Word format and will be acknowledged and reviewed following the journal’s scope.

All articles submitted to CDU-GSJ are encouraged to follow the format and be submitted to the CDU-GSJ online portal. External publication and innovative works are submitted by email to  [email protected]. 

The maximum number of pages should be within 10 pages, written in English using 12-point Arial. The text is single-line spacing in the body text, 1-inch margins on all sides. Page numbers should be continuous to the page’s right side and applies italics. There should not be underlined texts (except with url addresses). The illustrations, figures and tables are placed within the text at the relevant points rather than at the end of the text.

On page 1, there should include an abstract of not more than 300 words, which should include research facts and conclusions. Then, followed by 3-5 keywords. The title page should contain the principal author’s name, program, and registered ORCID number. For multiple author submission, include the name of the individual making the greatest contribution and last of the order should include the name of the Research mentor or adviser.

The chronological order of the publishable article are as follows:

The body text should be justified with indented headings. The content including the discussion portion should be presented into two columns. Headings must be in bold and using standard terminologies should be used and limit any jargons. Unfamiliar terms, abbreviations, and symbols must be defined at first mention.

Tables, Figures, and Graphs

The contents of the table contain the data-processing information, using the numerical values of the results. Researchers must make full information about the accessible presentation and exclude not included in the discussion. The first table begins with Table 1 or Figure or Graph 1 if using figures or graphs.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Presentation of every results should begin with the brief summary of results followed by Table 1. Descriptions of the data analysis methods should be discussed under the table, descriptions of each primary, and secondary outcome, including the total sample or respondents. In each data subgroup includes the means, standard deviations, and other measures that characterize the employed data.

In discussing similarities and differences between reported results and work of others. Interpretation of the study results and include citations from authors. The end of the discussion includes the implication of future research, program, or policy.

If the content is covered in the scope and the format is acceptable, the manuscript will be sent for double-blind peer review by at least two referees chosen for their expertise.

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

     ✔ This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

     ✔ This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.

     ✔ All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.

     ✔ All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.

     ✔ Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

     ✔ Manuscripts should consist of single line spacing in the body text, with 1-inch margins on all sides. Page numbers should be continuous to the right side of the page, excluding the title page.

     ✔ The title page (page 1), this should consist of the manuscript title, author/s, name of the mentor, and/ or department name to whom correspondence should be addressed.

     ✔ On page 1, there should be an abstract of not more than 300 words, which should include research facts and conclusions. Then, followed by 3-5 keywords.
